Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation Going HD on PS3, 360, and PC

Have you heard of Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation ? If you haven’t, it’s likely because the game only came out on the Vita. Still, it is a completely standalone Assassin’s Creed title with its own characters, story, and missions. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the killer app that sold the Vita, and so few Assassin’s Creed fans actually got to try it. Luckily, the game is going to be updated and released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation HD will not just be an HD facelift of the original. It will include 15 brand-new missions, divided into mission chains of five missions each. In addition, new story panels are being inserted between different missions in order to “focus players on the important bits of the story.” A new set of tutorials has also been integrated into the main mission path, introducing players to assassination and navigation mechanics. Of course, Assassin’s Creed fanatics that do care about appearances will enjoy completely re-polished graphics and a totally redone UI. All the sound in the game will also be reworked and re-mastered, and the sound effects have been totally remade by the audio team. Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation HD has not yet received an official release date. We will keep you updated on the game’s release as more information becomes available.
