Before a game can come out, it needs to be rated. If it gets rated before it’s announced, we have a leak on our hands. This is the case for The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition , a new title spotted on the ESRB’s website.
For those of you who have been hiding under a rock which itself was hiding under zombies, The Walking Dead was one of the best cinematic adventure games of last year. Developed by Telltale, it was a five episode game which very recently was expanded via its own short story compilation, the 400 Days DLC . You can either buy each chapter individually, buy a season pass to get all chapters at once, buy the physical disc version which comes with all chapters, and now it appears as if you can get the GOTY edition which will likely come with 400 Days .
Unfortunately, there’s not much more “extra content” that could be packaged with this GOTY edition, so it probably isn’t worth it to pick up the game again if you have already played it. For anyone who missed it, however, this will probably be an awesome value. An official release date and price for The Walking Dead: GOTY Edition has not yet been revealed.
