If you’re a World of Warcraft fan who thought that maybe it was time to take a break from your favorite MMO (and perhaps get some sun), forget about it. You’ll now have your hands full with a new upcoming expansion, which recently debuted at BlizzCon.
Warlords of Draenor is the name of the fifth expansion for World of Warcraft, and it “sends players to the world of Draenor at a pivotal moment in history to fight against and alongside legends from Warcraft’s brutal past,” according to a recent press release.
The expansion will provide better character animations and improved visuals of older content in order to bring it up to the standards of the newer races. Also, it will allow you to instantly boost one character to level 90 in order for new players to jump right into the action (without being utterly destroyed in the process).
The latest expansion from Blizzard touts additional features to WoW outside the new adventures found in the Draenor add-on, stating that “ World of Warcraft players will enjoy a wide array of new content on their way to the new level cap of 100, including new Zones,Dungeons, Raids, Scenarios, Battlegrounds, and more. Warlords of Draenorwill also introduce questing improvements designed to encourage exploration and add unpredictability to players’ ongoing adventures.”
A World of Warcraft film is also in the works, due out in December of 2015 .
