Many people are excited about the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain , but there is another game in the franchise set to come out soon, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes . This prequel to T he Phantom Pain will release on current and next-gen platforms in spring 2014 and will retail for $30 dollars. According to a recent picture tweeted by Hideo Kojima, the game may have some exclusive content for PlayStation platforms as well. So consider this when choosing what version to pick up, or even what next-gen console to pick up.
Interestingly enough, this kind of contradicts something that Kojima said previously, specifically that Metal Gear Solid V would be the same on every platform , a game that transcends consoles so to speak. Then again he was talking about The Phantom Pain at the time, so perhaps this transcendent experience doesn’t actually apply to Ground Zeroes.
