Welcome to Persona Day everyone! Recently, Atlus announced four, yes four, new games in the Persona series, and today, we cover them all. Last on our list is Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth , a brand-new dungeon-crawler for the 3DS.
Persona Q chibifies all of the characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 and sends them into the dungeon together. Along the way, they will end up re-enacting some of the most well-known events from both games. The story plays out differently depending on what cast of characters you bring into this new shadow dungeons, but it appears as if you can recruit party members from across games. There also seem to be a few brand-new characters introduced into the mix, but what their role in the story is, is not yet clear.
Persona Q has the most concrete release date of all the new Persona games we have covered so far, coming out in Japanese stores on June 5th, 2014. An American release has not yet been confirmed, but we wouldn’t be suprised if this hit American shelves.
