Marvel Heroes is getting a new addition to its hero selection! Announced today in a press release by Marvel Heroes’ development studio Gazillion Entertainment, Gambit will now be available to play around with against your opponents and with your friends! There’s even a reveal trailer, showing off Gambit’s abilities being used in-game.
For those of you who don’t know, Marvel Heroes is a free-to-play that features the heroes from the Marvel Universe, including Spiderman, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Captain America, and now Gambit too. All heroes can be unlocked by simply playing the game, and each one can be customized through extensive leveling systems, power trees, item drops, and so on. You can even dress up the heroes with costumes spanning Marvel’s 70-year-plus history, including the ones featured in recent movies.
Gambit himself, however, is a mutant with the capability of turning the potential energy with an object into devastating kinetic energy. He typically uses kinetically charged playing cards as his weapon of choice, which have a habit of exploding upon impact, and he also has an extendable bo staff, which he can super-charge to dish out all sorts of hurt.
