Art For Rumored Alien Game, Alien: Isolation, Appears on NeoGAF

The NeoGAF forums are a buzz with leaks today. Supposedly, official art from a new rumored Alien game, Alien: Isolation , has been leaked. The leaked art looks like box art, or to be honest, something more like a movie poster. It shows a young woman in a space helmet and frankly, it kind of looks like a shot from the film Gravity . A second image shows what appears to be a massive space station orbiting a green tinted planet with chunks falling off the edges of it. Once again, it kind of looks like a movie poster and, for that matter, it  looks like it was ripped straight off of Gravity . Is someone just tinting Gravity still shots green?

Sega has not commented on these leaks, but there is a lot of evidence that says this game is real. Sega filed a trademark application for the title back in October. Kotkau later reported that the game would star Ellen Ripley’s daughter, which is who people think this newly revealed female in the space helmet is.

What do we think? Well, there is a suspicious amount of pixilation around the logos in these pictures, which makes us think they could be fake. They also don’t really seem like the right size for game screenshots or box art. The game may be real, but we are still staying skeptical on this one.
