GOG accounts are free to create, so in essence these games are free for everyone.
GOG’s winter sale will be running through December 29 th . Each day will bring new deals to the GOG store. In addition, GOG users can open up one of three mystery boxes each day to receive either a completely free game or a deeply discounted game. So you can rack up quite a few free titles this holiday season.
GOG has also instituted a brand new money back guarantee for online purchases, which is unheard of in the digital distribution world. If a game encounters any game breaking bugs or crashes within the first thirty days of purchase, you can remove the game from your library and get the full price of purchase back. This policy also applies for DLC and gifts. Hopefully this becomes the new standard in online purchasing as there is nothing more depressing than buying a game you cannot play.
