Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of Z Demo Available Tomorrow

Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of Z Demo Available Tomorrow

Namco Bandai has today announced that a playable demo of its next installment to its Dragon Ball Z franchise, Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of Z , will be available to download on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on December 18 (tomorrow).

The demo itself will include the first four missions of the its singleplayer campaign, along with four of the franchise’s most well-known charact ers: Goku, Kid Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo. As for multiplayer, the demo will include Co-Op and Battle Modes, and will also allow play with other demo users as well, which I find to be quite a nice touch.

You will also be able to transfer some data from this demo to the full game once it’s released. Stuff like Dragon Points, Premium Points, mission progress, characters, obtained cards and player log data will all be able to be transferred over to the finished game.

Having only played a few Dragon Ball Z games over this year past, I can sum up my experience with each of them in one sentence: I still don’t know how to be good at them, and I lose pretty much every time. I’m just not good at the Dragon Ball Z games that I played. Then again, the friends I was playing against were far ahead of me in terms of understanding the basic mechanics of the game, memorizing how to execute combos, and had more exercised muscle memory, etc. I’ll tell you one thing though, when I eventually did effectively deflect / luck out of an overcharged power beam of death I felt like an absolute boss, but then I got my ass handed to be shortly after so my high didn’t last for very long.

Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of Z is slated to drop on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on January 24, 2014.
