Yesterday afternoon, Telltale Games President Kevin Bruner announced via their blog that the long awaited second episode of The Wolf Among Us would finally be launching sometime during the first week of February. Currently titled Smoke and Mirrors , this episode is expected to introduce players to Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk fame and how he plays into Bigby Wolf’s ongoing search for the ruthless Fabletown serial killer.
The very first episode of this Bill Willingham acclaimed series debuted way back in October of last year and fans everywhere have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter ever since. While Kevin did acknowledge that the team encountered several issues with getting this episode done on time, he assured many that these particular issues won’t happen again with the remaining episodes of the season.
Telltale Games made headlines in December when they revealed that they were also working on games based upon the popular Borderlands and Game Of Thrones franchises. Based on yesterday’s news, I would conclude that they most certainly have a lot on their shoulders and it will be interesting to see if they can successfully balance making all of these projects at once.
