Killzone Shadow Fall has proven itself to be a formidable FPS in the genre dominated by franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield 4 . Now, gamers have two new multiplayer maps available for the extremely low price of $0.00.
Poria Torkan, who is a producer at Guerrilla Games, gives us the run down on exactly what we can expect from out two free maps (via the PlayStation.Bog). “Today we’re giving you a look at the first pair of downloadable multiplayer maps for Killzone Shadow Fall , inspired by key locations from the single-player campaign…First up is The Cruiser, a close-to-mid-range combat map set in the confines of a decommissioned ISA cruiser. Consisting of tight, claustrophobic corridors and interconnected compartments, the key to dominating this map is identifying and controlling its choke points.”
The second map called “The Hangar” sports a wider layout that will provide great opportunities for snipers, but also features corridors and passageways that (if left unsecured) could be problematic for those who like to set up camp.
She also hints at a full-on expansion pack currently in the works and touts the great value the season pass offers. “Apart from The Cruiser and The Hanger multiplayer maps, we’re also working on the first DLC expansion pack for Killzone Shadow Fall . We’ll have more information on what it entails and when it’s available in the near future.
