Xbox One to Get 60FPS Sports Casts

Xbox One to Get 60FPS Sports Casts

Take a guess. How many frames per second do you think your standard TV broadcast supports? Video Game fans would be tempted to say 60fps, but they would be wrong. A standard TV broadcast is only 24fps. Sounds slow doesn’t it? Especially when we are studying 60 frame per second frame data to play Tekken .

Well the Xbox One is about to bring sports casts to a whole new degree of realness, as soon they are able to broadcast them in 60FPS (the same speed as Madden ). You might think that this is awesome, but remember that people who watched The Hobbit at a faster framerate reported having headaches. So it might not all be touchdowns in your brain.

This news comes from NeuLion, who said that their technology will be able to generate HD video at a bitrate of 6MBPS. That being said, seven differnet bit-rates, frame speeds and resolutions will be available and the Xbox One will auto adapt to the amount of bandwith you have.
