Dark Souls II Dropping on PC April 25

After being listed for a May release on Amazon , Dark Souls II will be dropping on PC this coming April on the 25th, over a month after the game’s console release on March 11, next week.

As reported by Siliconera , the PC release of Dark Souls II will feature graphical resolution four-times higher than its console counterparts, and will run at 60 frames per second. Dark Souls II will be available via Steam.

In early February, Namco Bandai, Dark Souls II ’s publisher, announced in a press release that those who pre-order either Dark Souls II: Black Armor Edition or Dark Souls II: Collector’s Edition will receive an exclusive voucher that will unlock weapons contained in the Black Armor Weapons Pack.

Back in January it was announced that the winners of a shield design contest would have their designed adapted and implemented into Dark Souls II , with one of their prizes being a real-life replica of their design. What’s more, From Software, Dark Souls II’s developer, is currently undecided about bringing its game to next-gen consoles.

Dark Souls II will be dropping onto PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next week on March 11 in North America, then March 13 in Japan and finally March 14 in Europe and Australasia.
