Namco Bandai Clarifies on Dark Souls II PC; April 25 Release Not Official

Yesterday, I wrote an article announcing that the PC release of Dark Souls II would be dropping on April 25. I’d like to apologise for that article, as that information was not official.

When asked over Twitter to confirm if the April 25 release was the real deal last Friday, Namco Bandai America responded that the company currently hasn’t announced any official date for Dark Souls II on PC, but more information on the matter may be on the horizon.

We haven’t announced a release date yet,” Namco Bandai America tweeted . “ We’ll have more info on that soon though!”

This error was pointed out to me by Raptr user Kairaz, to whom I thank for notifying me. Dark Souls II’s PC release date is still up in the air at the moment. However, if luck has it, we may see some light shed on this matter (hopefully) relatively soon.

Dark Souls II will be dropping onto PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next week on March 11 in North America, then March 13 in Japan and finally March 14 in Europe and Australasia.
