Xbox One Twitch Streaming Update Now Available

Xbox One Twitch Streaming Update Now Available

Yesterday afternoon, A Twitch TV representative announced via Twitter that the Xbox One Twitch broadcasting update would be available later that night. Microsoft also released a walkthrough video to explain the feature in more detail that I have conveniently embedded below:

This heavily anticipated update comes just in time for the launch of Titanfall in North America. Now that the broadcast feature is enabled, more Xbox One owners can enjoy the excitement of broadcasting their gameplay segments to the masses. Prior to this news, Twitch confirmed that it is now the official live streaming partner for this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

After all the delays regarding broadcasting, I’m glad to hear that both Microsoft and Twitch have finally got their act together. There is no doubt that features like these are vital to the overall life cycle of the console and I’m personally glad that they were able to launch this alongside Titanfall .

Have any of you had a chance to try out this feature on your Xbox One yet? Please feel free to let us know that and more in the comments section below.
