Oh god! It’s here again! Flappy Bird is coming back! We are all doomed to flap until the end of time!
The creator of the game, Dong Nguyen has said he is considering bringing the game back to iOS and Droid platforms after removing it for being too addicting. To ease his conscience, he has decided to include a warning along with the game, telling all players that it is very addictive and that all players should take regular breaks.
It’s unclear whether or not Nguyen is looking to re-upload the game because of fan demand, or because the game managed to make over $50,000 in a few days. Another big question is, are we still into Flappy Bird ? There are tons of Flappy Bird clones out there right now, and we have since become distracted by other things, like Twitch Plays Pokémon.
In addition, Nguyen has started development on other games, including an “action chess game” Checkonaut . Will these be as addicting as Flappy Bird ? Does Nguyen even want them to be?
