Respawn Entertainment Tracking Titanfall Cheaters

Respawn Entertainment Tracking Titanfall Cheaters

Last Night, A Respawn Entertainment representative stated over Twitter that the studio is fully aware of Titanfall cheaters and are taking appropriate actions against them now. The rep added that they are currently planning to “root out” these players and that a future patch update will include private lobbies to better control this situation.

The main cheating complaints stemmed from players who have been using aimbots to boost their kill counts across various gameplay sessions. Considering that Titanfall hasn’t even been out a full week yet, this is obviously a huge concern for virtually everyone who is playing the game right now. While Respawn wouldn’t go so far as to say what else they intend to do about this issue moving forward, they did emphasize that they are monitoring activity regularly and will have several fixes available in the days ahead.

While hearing this news may be disappointing for some, I personally think that it should be expected at this point. Online Multiplayer shooters such as Call of Duty and Battlefield are notorious for having cheaters that always try to diminish the experience for others. I’m glad that Respawn has acknowledged these issues and is working diligently to fix them.

Have any of you encountered any cheaters in Titanfall yet? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
