Global payment services provider Xsolla announced in a press release on Monday, March 17, that it is working with EVE Online developer CCP Games to help expand the payment options available to players in emerging markets, such as Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Latin America and South-East Asia.
Xsolla’s solution includes over 600 local payment methods in local currencies across the world, as well as 24/7 customer support in 12 different languages. Both Xsolla and CCP Games expect to introduce these new payment options to players this summer, starting with Russia.
“Xsolla is proud to be a part of this epic space odyssey and contribute to EVE’s growing international success,” said Helen Alyasheva, of Xsolla Business development team. “Xsolla’s extensive knowledge of local payment patterns and methods, and our exemplary user experience will let EVE Online make a payment at cosmic speed and proceed with their interstellar adventures.”
