Titanfall has only been out for a few weeks, and people are already talking about a sequel. EA has already gobbled up the rights to publishing the sequel, but Microsoft won’t have full say on what platforms it comes out on. Sources have informed Polygon that Titanfall 2 , whenever it may come out, will not be limited to Microsoft consoles at all. It will be able to come out on the PC, PS3, PS4, heck even the Wii U if they really feel like it.
It’s not particularly surprising that a sequel to the game is already in development. Titanfall has been received incredibly well by the gaming populace at large. Respawn entertainment has already said that only their first Titanfall would be Xbox exclusive, saying that they were looking into PS4 publishing just last October.
Many PS4 owners have actually gone as far to build new gaming PCs just to use Titanfall , which is pretty astounding, though not surprising as you can probably get a new gaming PC, or upgrade your old one to Titanfall spec, for less than a new Xbox One. Well, now they can rest easy knowing it will only be a few more months until they can play the game on their console of choice.
