Issue #1 of Five for The Witcher Comic Series Released

During CD Projekt RED’s presentation explaining why The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was delayed until February 2015 , the studio listed off plans of what it has for later on this year. One of these plans was for the studio to be working on a comic series, for both paper and digital release, set within the Witcher universe.

Yesterday, March 26, CD Projekt RED announced the first issue of said comic series: The Witcher: House of Glass . In partnership with Dark Horse Comics, who are also in partnership with CCP games to publish graphic novels set within the EVE Online universe, the first issue is available both in print, in comic book stores in the US, and for digital download. The digital version can be obtain via Dark Horses Digitals official website, or via its iOS and Android apps.

Created by Paul Tobin, with art by Joe Querio and covers by Dave Johnson, this comic series is said to extend the Witcher universe, and will deliver a compelling story of adventure, horror and mystery.

To give you a peek at what the comic has to offer, four of the initial pages have been released for public viewing. Each page can be found here , here , here and here respectively.

The first issue will cost you $3.99, or your regional equivalent. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is slated to drop on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February, 2015.
