Earlier today, Infinity Ward released a brand new teaser video from their upcoming Devastation DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts . The gameplay footage teases a confrontation with the popular horror movie alien called the Predator. While Infinity Ward hasn’t confirmed or denied this fact, it is heavily implied by the sounds that the invisible creature makes within the video.
The last batch of Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC was called Onslaught and featured a cameo by horror movie icon Michael Myers. Should the Predator tease turn out to be true, this will be the second high profile Hollywood icon that they have used in their video game. Call of Duty: Devastation is expected to launch on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 3 rd . Additionally, the content will feature four new maps and the second chapter in the four-player co-op story mode titled Extinction .
I’m personally glad to see that Infinity Ward is having fun with these DLC add-ons. My guess is either Freddy Krueger or Chucky from Child’s Play will show up in a future package. If so, I think that would be pretty awesome and give plenty more people a reason to check it out.
