Stephen Colbert to Replace David Letterman on The “Late Show”

Stephen Colbert to Replace David Letterman on The “Late Show”

OK, so this isn’t gaming news, but it’s pretty big. For those of you who haven’t been paying attention, legendary talk show host David Letterman will be retiring soon, at the age of 67. He has hosted The Late Show for 32 years, making him the longest running late-night talk show host in US Television history.

So who will replace him? None other than Stephen Colbert, host of the Colbert Report . Colbert has been on many programs, including The Daily Show, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Strangers With Candy , and more.

What does this mean for The Colbert Report ? Is it finally over? We aren’t quite sure. Maybe another Daily Show anchor will step up to take Colbert’s place. Our vote is for Jason Jones.
