Kirby’s latest adventure has just gotten a brand new trailer , courtesy of Nintendo, which shows off a lot of the game’s new gameplay. The game will allow you to shift from the foreground into the background with the use of special warp stars, and your actions in one area of the stage will effect the layout of other areas. Many classic powers will come back, including Ninja, Ice, Grappler, Stone, Cutter, Spark, Bomb, Wheel, Hammer, and Wing.
Many new powers will be introduced as well. One, called Leaf, will be introduced which will allow Kirby to spontaneously generate plants. Another called Hypernova will allow Kirby to suck up things many times his size. Yet another one called Circus allows Kirby to… jump through flaming rings or something.
Kirby Triple Deluxe is slated for release on May 2 nd in both hardcopy and as a downloadable title on the Nintendo eShop.
