Dead Nation to Arrive on PS Vita This Week

On Monday, April 14, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe associate producer Rogan Ogden confirmed that Dead Nation will be launching on Sony’s PlayStation Vita handheld today, April 15 in the US, and on Wednesday, April 16 in the EU.

Like the PlayStation 4 version, the PlayStation Vita version of Dead Nation is said to have faithfully recreated the experienced of the original Dead Nation on the PlayStation 3. Dead Nation is a top-down shooter set in a zombie apocalypse that also features co-op.

Dead Nation will set you back $7.99, or your regional equivalent, and it’s “Road of Devastation” DLC will be available to purchase separately for $3.99. Thanks to cross-buy, if you already own the PlayStation 3 game or its DLC, you’ll be entitled to their PlayStation Vita versions at no extra cost.

Dead Nation was recently added to PlayStation Now’s roster of available games for Beta testers. Borderlands 2 for PlayStation Vita has been confirmed for a May 6 launch via the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle, which includes a new model of the PlayStation Vita.

The handheld received a system update last month, and Terraria is also available on Sony’s handheld, too. Our Dead Nation and PlayStation reviews, written by Amanda L. Kondolojy and Josh Engen respectively, can be found here and here .
