Sony Online Entertainment All Access Delayed Until April 29th

Yesterday, Sony Online Entertainment Community Manager Collette Murphy confirmed over the SOE forums that their All Access pass has been delayed until April 29 th . The reason for this delay was to allow the team to test out the membership features further before effectively rolling them out to customers.

The All Access plan offers subscriptions to the company’s entire catalogue of games at the discounted price of $14.99 a month. In addition to offering subscribers timely updates for their favorite games, this service will also include access to new titles such as EverQuest Next and EverQuest Next Landmark once they are released. The program was originally supposed to launch on April 2 nd and has been delayed twice since then.

Sony’s decision to improve this service is a huge undertaking and I’m personally glad that they are taking their time to assure that everything works properly. Once the program does go live, I fully expect them to be flooded with subscribers left and right. Hopefully taking certain precautions now will guarantee a lot less problems later.

Are any of you planning to subscribe to this service? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
