Capcom has followed up their announcement of the newest Ace Attorney game with a brand new trailer. Ace Attorney Six will be set in Japan’s Meiji era. It will star Ryuunosuke Naruhodo, ancestor to Phoenix Wright, and apparently a member of the Japanese military, complete with a sword on his back. Another character that has been revealed is Mikatoba Susato, a proper lady in a floral Kimono, who is described as an “ideal Japanese Woman” who also apparently has an obsession with foreign detectives. Here’s hoping we get to see Detective Gumshoe’s ancestor in the game as well.
The trailer didn’t show any gameplay, but did show a lot of official art. For example, we got to see the courtroom, a much darker place in the Meiji era, lit with hanging lamps. We also got to see several other locales, including what appeared to be a temple and an office. Unfortunately, this still doesn’t reveal much about the game’s plot, but you can come to your own conclusions by watching the trailer here.
