Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Console Exclusive Content No Longer Console Exclusive Anymore

One of the big marketing plans for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was to give each version its own console exclusive content. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 received a mission called Jamais Vu, which allowed you to play as Raiden, while the PS3 and PS4 got the Déjà Vu mission which allowed you to play as Metal Gear Solid 1 era Snake. Well now, Hideo Kojima has announced that each exclusive mission will be coming to the other platform, basically making the whole marketing thing kind of useless. The missions will be released on May 1 st and will be integrated into the game via a free patch, no trips to the Xbox Marketplace or PSN Store required.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been heavily criticized for being a very short demo of a game sold at full price. These exclusive missions won’t do a whole lot to help that image, but at least they give you a little extra to do before Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain comes out.
