Last night, Naughty Dog confirmed over Twitter that their upcoming Grounded Bundle DLC for The Last of Us is expected to launch worldwide on May 5 th . This will be the third and final DLC add-on from their season pass fulfillment for The Last of Us .
The Grounded Bundle DLC pack comes complete with six new trophies and offers a healthy mix of both single player and multiplayer content. Players can expect a new Grounded difficulty mode campaign option, four new multiplayer map packs, new weapons, and new survival skills. Most of these things can be purchased separately if you choose not to buy the season pass before May 13 th . Now that we know a remastered version of The Last of Us is coming to the PS4, I predict that many people will wait for that instead of picking up this DLC package. It’s great that Naughty Dog is giving their fans so many options when it comes to purchasing this content. This tactic alone guarantees that both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game will continue to sell well in the months ahead.
