The last piece of the Last of Us ’s DLC will include a brand new difficulty mode. Entitled “ Grounded Mode ” this is going to be the mode that will be most like an actual apocalypse. According to Naughty Dog “The AI is relentless, smart, and brutal, and survival will be near impossible.”
Unfortunately, the new mode isn’t free. Players will have to purchase the mode at a $5 price tag. However, the mode is included as part of the $20 Last of Us season pass.
In addition to this new mode, players will receive a brand new Reclaimed Territories Map Pack, which includes four new maps for multiplayer mode. The map pack will retail for $10 seperately. There is also a new weapon bundle and skills bundle which will retail for six dollars and four dollars respectively.
