George R.R. Martin’s Assistant Working On Telltale’s Game of Thrones Series

George R.R. Martin’s Assistant Working On Telltale’s Game of Thrones Series

In a report released by The New York Times , a profile centered on Telltale Games’ upcoming projects confirmed that George R.R. Martin’s personal assistant is working with the studio on their highly anticipated Game of Thrones episodic series. Ty Corey Franck was chosen to serve as the main story consultant for the game. The report also stated that the project is still in pre-production and is part of a multi-year, multi-project deal with HBO.

This Game of Thrones project was originally revealed during the 2013 Spike VGX awards. Telltale is currently working on The Walking Dead: Season Two , The Wolf Among Us , and Tales From The Borderlands . It is unclear when exactly their Game Of Thrones series will start.

Hearing this news should be very reassuring for fans of the TV show. Many had wondered earlier on if this game would be fully adapted from the show. While we still don’t have all of the full details on it, my best guess is that there will be several similarities and occasional appearances by other characters from the show. Hopefully we can learn more about Telltale’s plans for this series later this year.

Are any of you looking forward to this project? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
