Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn has reached its goal on Indiegogo. The game raised $473,884 from 1,340 total backers which put it slightly above its original $450,000 goal.
“Our success is on your shoulders. You have made this happen for all of us and we’re thrilled to have had your passion and support from start to finish,” studio Big Deez Productions said. “Our promise still stands: This time we won’t Fu it up!” The studio plans on creating several developer diary videos to show backers how the game is progressing.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will be made for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U and PC. The game was originally slated to come out on PC only unless stretch goals were met, but this was changed halfway through the crowdfunding drive. Unfortunately, stretch goals for a mobile version of the game, or a handheld version, were not met.
