Halo: The Master Chief Collection will Run at 1080p, 60fps Across All Four Games

New details were revealed for the Halo: Master Chief Collection during Microsoft’s press conference at this year’s E3 on Monday, June 9. Along with its official announcement , the existence of Halo 2 Anniversary was also officially confirmed–some additional details on Halo 5: Guardians were also touched on.

The Master Chief Collection , which began as a rumor back in May , will include all four games from the main Halo series– Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary , Halo 2 Anniversary , Halo 3 and Halo 4 –on one disc.

To top it off, as reported by GameZone, each game is said to be rendered in 1080p and will run at 60 frames per second. The Master Chief Collection is slated to release on Tuesday, November 11 this year–just about exactly 10 years since the original Halo 2 initially launched–exclusively for Xbox One.

Be sure to check out the collection’s announcement trailer via the embedded video below (which also teases characters that may appear in Halo 5 –one of which will be a familiar sight). Stay tuned for more E3 coverage throughout this week.
