Anyone out there that loves free stuff raise your hands. While I can’t tell if you actually did it or are just flipping me the bird right now, I do know that everyone likes gaming for free! Let’s take a look at what Xbox subscribers are in for this July!
The Xbox Wire recently posted a breakdown of each of the upcoming titles, which Gold members will be able to download to their consoles for the cost of a goose egg. First up are two titles for the last-gen Xbox 360. Available during the first half of the month (July 1 st -16 th ) is Gotham City Imposters . This quirky FPS set in the world of Batman pits “…two teams of six players face off against each other using a variety of Batman- and Joker-themed weapons in good ol’ deathmatches. Raucous fun, and plenty of it to be had for fans of blowin’ stuff up.”
After that, gamers will get BattleBlock Theater (from July 16 th -31 st ). This colorful little title will require you to “…Play single player or co-op to free your friends and save Hatty Hattington! Jump, solve and battle your way through a mysterious theater inhabited by highly technological felines.”
Last but not least is the current-gen Xbox One. Coming on July 2 nd you can download Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (yes that’s its real name). Here, you play “…Juan Aguacate, a masked Mexican wrestler on a quest to save the President’s daughter from the evil…you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll elbow-drop jaguars.” the ‘Wire explains.
