Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game Coming to 3DS this Summer

As reported by Polygon on Monday, June 30, bigwig publisher Activision has announced that a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game based on the upcoming movie produced by Michael Bay will be releasing on Nintendo’s 3DS later on this summer.

The 3DS title is said to be a third-person hack-and-slash action game set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles version of New York City, which is being double-teamed by a mutant-robotic army created by the mad genius Baxter Stockman and a shadow army that belongs to the Foot Clan.

According to Polygon, players will be able to utilize the game’s four heroes–Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello–on the fly, and make use of their respective unique abilities for a number of situation’s that players may encounter.

The game will also feature crafting and a progression system that’ll allow for players to level up the powers of each turtle, unlock new abilities and bolster their respective stats.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is slated to release “ just in time ” for Bay’s movie, which will launch in cinemas worldwide on Friday, August 8.
