In anticipation of Microsoft rolling out its July update in the next few days, Major Nelson recently posted a reminder to the Xbox Wire on what we can expect.
“July is upon us and that means we’ll begin rolling out the next system update for Xbox One around the world in the coming days. Last month, we announced the new features coming in this update and since then, the team has been working hard to bring you a new and enhanced Snap mode for achievements, double-tap to Snap, and more voice control choices in select regions.” He says.
By far, the obvious stand-out feature coming is the new snap mode for achievements. While “snapping” to the side of your screen in order to multi-task (IE: seamlessly switching between gaming, TV or other such apps) is common, the ability to track achievement progress is certainly a welcomed addition. It will allow you not only sort which ones you’re closest to achieving at the top, but let you search online to find guides for those you’re having trouble acquiring.
