Gearbox has just revealed Battleborn , a brand new first person battle arena IP. The game is in development for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Battleborn is being called an “ambitious fusion of genres” by Gearbox president Randy Pitchford. “If Borderlands 2 is a shooter-looter, Battleborn is a hero-shooter,” he said. “As a genre-fused, hobby-grade, co-operative and competitive FPS exploding with eye-popping style and an imaginative universe, Battleborn is the most ambitious video game that Gearbox has ever created.”
Many details about the game are still being kept under wraps. However, we do have a date. The game is slated for a release in 2015-2016, specifically no later than the fiscal year ends on March 31 st .
