Hearthstone’s “Curse of Naxxramas” will cost Real and In-game Money

Hearthstone’s “Curse of Naxxramas” will cost Real and In-game Money

As detailed on Battle.net, new details for Hearthstone’s singleplayer adventure “ Curse of Naxxramas ” were revealed on on Tuesday, July 8, outlining how you’ll be able to access the adventure and the Naxxramas Heroic Mode.

The Curse of Naxxramas adventure will be split up into five separate “wings”, with one wing opening up each week once the adventure releases, which’ll be done in the following order: Arachnid Quarter, Plague Quarter, Military Quarter, Construct Quarter and Frostwyrm Lair.

During Curse of Naxxramas’ launch event, the first wing–Arachnid Quarter–will be available to access for free, and said launch event will last “ roughly a month or so, ” so you’ll have plenty of time to steel yourself for the rest of Curse of Naxxramas’ content. Whether or not Arachnid Quarter will remain free after the adventure’s launch event has yet to be made clear.

Furthermore, completing the Arachnid Quarter and its bosses (Anub’Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina and Maexxna) will unlock new Hearthstone cards for you to add into your collections.

After Arachnid Quarter, the remaining four wings will set you back €5.99 / £4.99 (or your regional equivalent)–or alternatively 700 in-game gold–each.

If you unlock multiple wings in the Curse of Naxxramas adventure, you’ll receive eligibility to bundle up the remaining wings if you so desire, which has been detailed in the featured image above. Having said that, buying multiple wings won’t allow you early access to them if some of the wings you’ve purchased haven’t yet released; Blizzard Entertainment will still be sticking to its one-wing-a-week schedule regardless of how much money you spend.

As for the adventure’s Heroic Mode, once you have defeated all the bosses in any given wing for the first time, you’ll unlock the Heroic Mode of that wing. Essentially “Hard Mode”, Heroic Mode makes the wings’ bosses significantly more difficult than their normal versions, and “ they will prove to be a challenge for even the most veteran Hearthstone players. ” Furthermore, defeating all the bosses in the adventure on Heroic Mode will also unlock new cards for you collection.

We’ll bring you more news on Hearthstone ’s Curse of Naxxramas adventure should further information reach our ears.
