New Assassin’s Creed Unity trailers Released

New Assassin’s Creed Unity trailers Released

As published via YouTube on Monday, July 14, a new gameplay trailer of Ubisoft’s upcoming addition to the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Unity , shows off the riots, fights and beheadings of the French Revolution, with some assassinations here and there, too.

One might presume the whole trailer is all rendered in-engine, and it features the game’s assassin backstabbing and openly fighting French soldiers while the townspeople just stand around in crowds, jeering and waving the French flag.

On the same day, a cinematic trailer was also released, explaining Assassin’s Creed Unity in context of the historic French Revolution era and how the revolution itself started back in the 18th century.

Assassin’s Creed Unity has recently become the subject of controversy, as it was revealed that you won’t be able to play as a female character throughout the game. Ubisoft’s explanation for this decision, delivered as “ realities of production ”, was soon called out by a former employee , who chastised the developer for its reasoning.

Assassin’s Creed Unity was announced back in March , and posters depicting pre-order bonuses were leaked a couple of months back. The game is said to release on Tuesday, October 28 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Ubisoft has also reassured that it’s trying not to delay the game’s PC release .
