As reported by Nintendo News, suggestions of there being a 3DS version of the Ocarina of Time sequel Majora’s Mask were leaked by an Canadian Target employee.
According to the employee, who posted images of the discovery online (as depicted by the featured image above), labels for the game had already printed and put on display shelving, which were complete with the game’s title, a price tag and a functioning bar code, and even placeholder information for the game’s supposed release date.
Nintendo has yet to make an official announcement on whether or not Majora’s Mask will release on the 3DS, but connections have been made that the title is certainly in the pipeline and is on its way.
According to Nintendo News, key Nintendo developer Takashi Tezuka recently revealed that he would personally like to be able to enjoy a Majora’s Mask remake on the 3DS. Furthermore, Grezzo, the developer who worked on Ocarina of Time for the 3DS, recently posted two job listings regarding the development of a “ Legend ”.
Also according to Nintendo News, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto recently revealed that there is still unannounced 3DS projects in the works for the Zelda franchise.
