There has been a lot of mystery surrounding the latest Dragon Ball Z game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse . The very first images released for the game showed off a character that looked like a fanfiction mishmash of all other DBX characters. He had a Saiyan scouter, Piccolo’s scarf and cape, Trunks’ jacket, and more. Many people thought that this character would stand in for some sort of player created character but at E3 2014, we were told that he plays an important role in Dragon Ball Xenoverse ’s unique original plot.
Well today we got yet more screenshots of this mysterious character. Specifically, we see this character going Super Saiyan, which means he is a Saiyan of some sort. His normal hair color is red though soooooooo it’s unlikely he is related to any of the main characters from the series. He was seen talking to Yamcha and fighting Android 18. We are getting another time travel vibe here.
If this character is just a totally new creation the designers surely could have spent a little bit more effort on him… right? I mean… he kind of looks like a Deviant Art drawing.
