While the “Phase Two” of Marvel films are still currently in the process of being rolled out, it’s never too early to begin looking to the future in anticipation!
In recent days, Marvel has shaken things up a bit. After pushing the Amazing Spider-Man 3 back to 2018, part four’s original May release is no longer possible. However, the Sinister Six movie has been confirmed for November of 2016.
According to SuperHeroHype, it appears that Marvel’s plan is to churn out three films a year, starting in 2017. Here are the tentative release dates (with placeholders accounting for the yet unnamed films):
- May 1, 2015 – Avengers: Age of Ultron
- July 17, 2015 – Ant-Man
- May 6, 2016 – Captain America 3
- July 8, 2016 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- May 5, 2017 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- July 28, 2017 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- November 3, 2017 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- May 4, 2018 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- July 6, 2018 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- November 2, 2018 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
- May 3, 2019 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
Marvel’s latest Guardians of the Galaxy (hitting theaters next month) looks to pave the way for some of what you’ll see in Avengers: Age of Ultron .
