As reported by CNET on Thursday, July 24, the first trailer for Ridley Scott’s live-action Halo digital feature, Halo: Nightfall , debuted at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, which feature’s Halo 5: Guardian’s Agent Locke.
Even though agent Jameson Locke, as played by actor Mike Colter, will be a playable character in Halo 5 , Colter revealed to those who attended the movie’s Comic-Con panel that he “ can’t confirm whether [Agent Locke is] a friend or foe of [main character] Master Chief. ”
Ridley Scott will be Halo: Nightfall’s executive producer, and Battlestar Galactica’s Sergio Mimica-Gezzan will be the movie’s director. Doctor Who actress Christina Chong will also be Halo: Nightfall’s female lead .
What’s more, Halo: Nightfall will take place after the events of Halo 4 , and it is also intended to be a direct lead-in for Halo 5 .
The movie is to be the origin’s story of Agent Locke, and the movie itself is slated to release for Microsoft’s Xbox and Surface platforms on Tuesday, November 11.
