FOVE Creators Invited to Attend Microsoft Ventures Accelerator London

Eurogamer reports that Microsoft has expressed interest in  FOVE, an eye-tracking visor developed by a Japanese startup company. Microsoft has invited the company to become a part of the Microsoft Ventures London Accelerator, which, should they choose to accept, would make them the first Japanese company to attend the event that’s design to assist promising startups.

FOVE is supposed to be the first eye-tracking visor that’s head-mounted, which allows users to perform actions on their screen using only their eyes; this is particularly useful for medical uses. As you might expect, this technology can potentially be used gaming, and Microsoft, who has dabbled in motion technology in the past with the Kinect, seems appropriately interested.
