Telltale Games confirms The Walking Dead: Season Three

As revealed at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games has confirmed via Twitter that “ there will be a third season of The Walking Dead .

The announcement came through Telltale Game’s official Twitter account on Saturday, July 26. Unfortunately, no further details other than the season’s confirmation were given, leaving us to only speculate when The Walking Dead: Season Three will be available.

The second-last episode of The Walking Dead’s current season, Season Two, was released last week . The fourth of five episodes, entitled “ Amid the Ruins ”, launched for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and iOS later on next week. The specific dates have been detailed below.

  • Tuesday, July 22: Amid the Ruins released on PC, Mac, the Telltale Online Store and other digital distribution services. It also released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America.

  • Wednesday, July 23: The fourth episode released on Xbox 360, and it also released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in European territories.

  • Thursday, July 24: The episode is now available as an in-app purchase via The Walking Dead: Season Two app on iOS.

The penultimate episode will release on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network for $4.99, or you regional equivalent, as an individual purchase. The Mac and PC versions of the episode will be available as part of the game’s Season Pass, and the iOS version will also be available for $4.99 as an individual purchase.
