10-minute video shows off The Legend of Korra Gameplay

As reported by IGN at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, a new video of Platinum Games’ The Legend of Korra has been recently released, showcasing 10 minutes of gameplay of the video game adaptation of Nickelodeon’s animated series.

In Platinum Game’s adaptation of The Legend of Korra , Korra herself starts off with her powers blocked by an unknown enemy. However, she regains her powers through the first playthrough of the game, with succeeding playthroughs starting off with Korra being fully powered, like a new game plus.

The Legend of Korra videogame will be a third-person brawler developed for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and it’ll be a downloadable title published by Activision.

The game will take place between The Legend of Korra’s second and third seasons, the title’s story will be written by Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Tim Hedrick.

Additionally, a 3DS title of The Legend of korra is also in the pipeline, which will be built by handheld developer Webfoot Technologies. While Platinum’s adaptation will be a fast-pace action game, the 3DS game will a turn-based strategy game that will ” focus on tactically maneuvering Korra and her allies on the battlefield.

Both games are slated to release later on this year. We’ll bring you more information on a release date should further details reach our ears.
