New Mortal Kombat X Gameplay Video Shows Off Raiden

New Mortal Kombat X Gameplay Video Shows Off Raiden

As published via YouTube on Tuesday, August 5, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released a new gameplay video of Mortal Kombat X that shows off the series’ veteran, Raiden.

Narrated by Mortal Kombat co-creator and NetherRealm’s creative director Ed Boon, the new gameplay video demonstrates Raiden’s different character variations and playstyles.

Each variation of Raiden has its own offensive and defensive strategies, and gameplay video highlights three of Raidens variations: “Thunder God”, “Displacer” and “Storm Lord”.

According to an interview with Ed Boom back in mid-June, Boon thinks the main thing about Mortal Kombat X is its multiplayer component (in terms of gameplay).

The studio will be introducing an “ online experience that is persistent ” to the game, which is touted to play a major role in your experience when playing Mortal Kombat X .

During the first day of E3, we were introduced to two new characters that’ll be featured in Mortal Kombat X , but their names were conveniently hidden during the game’s trailer.

Be sure to check out our Jason Messer’s first look of the game . Mortal Kombat X is slated to release sometime in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. We’ll bring you more news on Mortal Kombat X should further information reach our ears.

In the meantime, you can view Raiden’s different character variations via the embedded video below.
