The creators of Dragon Ball Xenoverse have finally revealed who their mysterious new character is…
… It’s you…
By that we mean that it’s a creatable character that you can design yourself.
We first theorized about this being the case when the character that was shown was wearing Trunks’ jacket, a scouter, Piccolo’s scarf, and has the ability to go Super Saiyan. We have read enough Dragon Ball Z fanfic to know that this was some sort of fan created character. However, Bandai Namco started building up mystery around this character as some sort of important time traveling figure. It still appears as if that is the case, but the character is all up to you.
It appears as if you can make your character a variety of different races including Human, Saiyan, Namekian, and Majin. There are many different clothes and hairstyles to choose from as well. Unfortunately it does appear as if a lot of these just mimic preexisting DBZ shots. Heck, one of the screenshots literally looks like Trunks in a trenchcoat.
This truly is a fanfiction writer’s dream.
