Sony continues to tell us that The Last Guardian , the much awaited game from Team Ico that was announced near the beginning of the PlayStation 3’s lifetime, is still in development. That being said, we didn’t see it at E3, we didn’t see it at Gamescom, and there’s only one more major trade show for them to make an appearance at: Tokyo Game Show.
Well… don’t hold your breath.
Sony president Shuhei Yoshida said that the chances that the game would make an appearance at TGS are slim at best. The game would be shown again “When we are ready,” he said. “I cannot confirm any timing because we are waiting for it to be in a state where we are happy that this is the game. We have a certain time frame in our mind (emphasis added), and the team is making great progress, but still not to the point that we can say that, ‘here you go.'”
