Remember when Phil Fish got fed up with the gaming industry enough to cancel his upcoming FEZ 2 ? Remember when impatient and immature gamers just kept pestering him until he couldn’t take it anymore? Well, they are still pestering him, but for something else now. Now, gamers actually WANT to see FEZ 2 , and Phil Fish is not having any of it.
“Seriously, shut the f*** up about Fez 2. never going to happen. you don’t deserve it,” the designer tweeted.
“Fez II is cancelled. i am done. i take the money and i run. this is as much as i can stomach. this is isn’t the result of any one thing, but the end of a long, bloody campaign. you win,” was what he wrote when he decided to depart this industry.
Phil Fish is actually, 100%, out of game design, and it is your fault. Chew on that for a second the next time you think your angry internet opinions don’t effect anyone.
