Rise of the Tomb Raider , the sequel to last year’s well received Tomb Raider reboot, was recently revealed as an Xbox One exclusive. Unfortunately, this isn’t sitting well with fans… or for that matter Sony Executives. Shuhei Yoshida, Of Sony was particularly taken by surprise by the news.
“We didn’t anticipate something like this would happen,” he said. “How could we know?”
Yoshida went on to say that he hopes that Rise of the Tomb Raider will eventually come out to PlayStation platforms but, “that question has to be asked to Square-Enix and Microsoft.” When asked whether or not he thinks it will show up on the PS4 some day, he only responded with, “How can I tell?”
